A Science-Informed Approach to Wellness
My work integrates fitness, nervous system regulation, movement, restorative practices, breath-work, somatic awareness, and wellness education to support resilience, recovery, longevity and embodied well-being.
Rather than viewing symptoms in isolation, this approach recognizes the relationship between the nervous system, movement, environment, recovery, and the body's innate capacity to adapt and restore balance.
Every session is personalized to support sustainable health, greater vitality, and practical habits that integrate naturally into everyday life.
-
Wellness is more than physical. It is neurological, emotional, environmental, relational and deeply embodied. The way we move, breathe, rest, nourish ourselves, relate to others, and interact with our surroundings all shape how we experience health.
My philosophy bridges science-informed movement and wellness education with strength, recovery, and proprioceptive and interoceptive awareness to support nervous system regulation, resilience, and long-term vitality. Rather than addressing one part of the person in isolation, this work considers the whole human and the conditions that allow us to adapt, recover, and thrive.
-
1. Movement & Strength
Building strength, mobility, stability, and body awareness through intentional movement that supports function, confidence, and long-term physical health.
2. Nervous System & Recovery
Using breath, restorative practices, somatic awareness, and stress-regulation tools to support recovery, adaptability, and greater resilience.
3. Lifestyle & Longevity
Looking beyond the session to sleep, nourishment, routines, recovery, habits, and everyday choices that contribute to sustainable health over time.
4. Environment & Relationships
Recognizing that health is shaped by the spaces we inhabit, the relationships we maintain, the products and information we consume, and the conditions surrounding our daily lives.
5. Mindfulness & Embodied Awareness
Cultivating the ability to notice, understand, and respond to the body with greater awareness—bridging contemplative practices with modern health and wellness education.

It's plain as day that Liz loves what she does and by her calm unflappable demeanor, it is also obvious that she practices what she teaches. She has intelligence, wit, a quick mind, and a delightful sense of self-deprecating humor. She has bright clear eyes and her intelligence just pops right at you! I recommend you to meet her for an endeavor that is articulate, intelligent, poised, and an empathetic young woman chooses to take on.

Wellness with Lizbeth is not an ordinary wellness class. It's a mind-body training with a skilled, intuitive and empathic guide who guides you inward. As a life-long yoga practitioner as well as a body-oriented trauma psychotherapist, I fine-tune my own inner workings on the mat with Lizbeth. She is highly educated in the field of wellness and medical yoga and brings her dedication to every class. She feels what you may not yet have sensed into and guides you gently but effectively to feel and reconnect with your body.

Thank you, Lizbeth, for helping my patients be more mindful. Your yoga teachings have helped them stretch their achy joints, their painful backs, legs, knees, and shoulders. Your class is soothing, and you give clear instructions that help the class reach their best pose. I thank you for helping the south-central community.

Lizbeth is one of the best, if not the best, yoga instructor I have come across in my many years of practice.
Her knowledge of the body imbued in her very deliberate pedagogy and dissemination of yoga philosophy to her students leaves no stone left unturned for a truly thorough and transformative experience. Her class is a must not miss for me, as I know before I arrive that I will leave fulfilled, ready for what new blessings life brings my way. Thank you Lizbeth.

Lizbeth was very attentive, adjusting and providing one on one support without disrupting the flow of the class. She brings a deeper mindfulness to her class not only with her practice but with her intention. I LOVED the class and a lot of people like me can really benefit from her teachings.

Lizbeth is an incredible teacher and I always appreciate her class and style as part of my wellness and fitness routine. When I first walked into her yin class, admittedly I was looking for a distraction and was unsure what to expect overall and ended up having the practice help me in numerous ways beyond just a physical one. Her classes have become such a great grounding practice as part of my running training and overall life with work that I always look forward to. Many thanks to Lizbeth for her wisdom and approach to teaching, truly a gift to receive, every time beyond just a physical one. Liz has a unique ability, she is aware of other's social barriers while she teaches. She creates a calm and stable yogic environment in some of the most challenging locations. Her classes offer not just poses, but she infuses the history and philosophy of yoga studies as her teaching style. She tailors her classes to fit the students in front of her in very accessible and inclusive ways. She effortlessly manages class sizes from small and intimate to large scale. Her ability to teach Spanish speaking groups is an added benefit!

About
I believe lasting wellness begins with understanding the relationship between the nervous system, the body and the way we live. My work integrates fitness and movement, breath-work, restorative practices, somatic awareness, and lifestyle coaching to help people build strength, regulate stress and create sustainable habits that support long-term health.
With more than a decade of experience, two graduate degrees in Yoga Therapy and Yoga Studies, and continued education in the health sciences and clinical care, my approach bridges evidence-informed practice with contemplative traditions and whole-person wellness. As my clinical education continues to evolve, so does my work, bringing a deeper understanding of human physiology, health, and longevity into practical, personalized coaching that meets each person where they are.
